Above normal rains in 46 districts of state

Bhopal: As on June 21, above normal rainfall has been registered in 46 districts of the state whereas normal and below normal rainfall has been registered in 2 districts.
Maximum 59.8 mm more rainfall has been registered against normal 245.3 mm in Khandwa and 78.6 mm more than average of 258.7 in Burhanpur district. Meanwhile, least rainfall has been registered in Katni and Sheopur Kalan districts. Katni has registered 25.8 mm against average of 47.9 mm and Sheopur Kalan 20.2 mm against 25.8 mm.
According to information received from flood control and monitoring cell of Relief Commissioner’s office, above normal rainfall has been registered in 46 districts including Jabalpur, Chhindwara, Seoni, Mandla, Dindori, Narsinghpur, Tikamgarh, Chhatarpur, Singrauli, Satna, Shahdol, Anuppur, Umaria, Indore, Dhar, Jhabua, Alirajpur, Khargone, Barwani, Khandwa, Burhanpur, Ujjain, Mandsaur, Neemuch, Ratlam, Dewas, Shajapur, Morena, Bhind, Gwalior, Guna, Ashok Nagar, Datia, Bhopal, Sehore, Raisen, Vidisha, Rajgarh, Hoshangabad, Harda, Betul, Panna, Rewa, Shivpuri, Sagar and Damoh.
Normal rainfall has been registered in Sidhi and Balaghat and least rainfall in Katni and Sheopur Kalan districts.
