8 Get Lifer for Killing Four in MP

Bhopal: In a murder case, as many as eight convicts were awarded life imprisonment by a special court in Ratlam in MP. The court also imposed a fine of Rs 1,000 each on them.

The Special Judge P S Patidar, however, acquitted five others, including two minors, who too were accused in the case of killing four persons.

Names of the convicts are: Babulal Gujjar, Rakesh, Dileep, Gudda, Jamuna Lal, Shakilal, Ganesh and Kailesh killed Bablu alias Sanjay, Kaka Vishnu Yadav, Haria and Rama Adivasi, informed prosecution.

According to the prosecution, the convicts after killing four persons with sharp-edged weapons had thrown their bodies near a railway track under Raoti police station area on November 2, 2005.

The court was informed that the deceased Bablu had a land dispute with the convicts and a case in this regard was going on in a court in Ratlam. The dispute aggravated and took a violent turn when the convicts killed Bablu and three others along with him.
