1.10 lakh MNREGA officers and employees to be trained

Bhopal: A training programme is being started at Gwalior divisional headquarters from July 16, 2013 for further streamlining implementation of Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Employment Guarantee Act in the state. Training will be imparted as per new guidelines and directives regarding work disposal process. As many as 1 lakh 10 thousand offices and employees will be trained during one-month training to get underway from tomorrow.

In the first phase training will be imparted to all Zila and Janpad Panchayat CEOs, Project Officers, Accounts Officers, Senior Data Managers and Monitoring & Evaluation Coordinators Gwalior and Chambal divisions at Gwalior on July 16, Indore and Ujjain divisions at Indore on July 22, Bhopal, Sagar and Narmadapuram divisions at Bhopal on July 29 and Jabalpur, Shahdol and Rewa divisions at Jabalpur on August 5.
Within three days after undergoing training at divisional headquarters, these officers will train Janpad officers and employees in their respective districts. The Janpad-level trainees will impart training to Sarpanchas, Secretaries, Village Employment Assistants, Mates and sub-engineers at Gram Panchayats within two days after undergoing training.
