Scholarship to poor students right from class 1st

Bhopal: Addressing “MLA At People’s Doorstep Programme” in Indore today, Chief Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan has said that scholarship will be given to poor families’ children right from class Ist. He said that illegal colonies in the state will be regularised and financial sanction will be granted this year to the hospital proposed to be constructed in Banganga area of Indore.
Chief Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan said that MLA At People’s Doorstep Programme” should be continued. He described incident of beheading of soldiers at the country’s border as inhuman. He said that martyrs should be worshipped. He informed that a 60X40 plot and Rs. 15 lakh financial assistance have been provided to the family of late Shri Champalal Malviya who attained martyrdom recently. Martyr’s memorial will also be constructed.
Chief Minister Shri Chouhan said that it is the effort of the State Government to develop Madhya Pradesh as the number one state of the country. Public representatives should monitor implementation of welfare schemes and programmes. Shri Chouhan said that no poor student will remain deprived of education due to paucity of funds. Education loan will be made available to children of all sections and the State Government will give the loan guarantee.
Shri Chouhan said that eve teasers and people harassing women will not be spared in any case. A database of people committing crimes against women is being prepared. Those convicted in such cases will not be issued driving licence, passport etc. They will also not be given government job. Registered eve teasing cases will be disposed of within prescribed time-limit. He said that FDI in retail sector will not be allowed in Madhya Pradesh. Those not maintaining their parents will be punished.
At the programme, state BJP president and Member of Parliament Shri Narendra Singh Tomar said that “MLA At People’s Doorstep Programme” is a novel programme. It has infused new hope and energy.
CM visits Bombay Hospital
After the programme, Chief Minister Shri Chouhan went directly to Bombay Hospital where he enquired about the health of Commerce & Industries Minister Shri Kailash Vijayvargiya’s wife Smt. Asha Vijayvargiya and Sant Shri Bhayyu Maharaj’s father Shri Vishwas Raoji Deshmukh. They wished them speedy recovery.
Minister of State for Health Shri Mahendra Hardia, Apex Bank Chairman Shri Bhanwar Singh Shekhawat, Khadi Gramodyog Board Chairman Shri Satyanarayan Sattan, Mayor Shri Krishna Murari Moghe, MLAs Shri Sudarshan Gupta and Smt. Malini Gaur, Shri Shankarlal Lalwani and other public representatives were present on the occasion.
