India Fights Back – 10 Maoists killed in Jh’khand
Security forces have reportedly killed at least 10 suspected Naxalite rebels in an 18-hour gun battle near Kundli village in West Singhbhum district of Jharkhand, say reports coming in from the area.
One Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) personnel, Himmat Singh, was martyred while half-a-dozen others sustained wounds in the operation that has led to the recovery of a huge cache of arms and ammunition.
The joint CRPF – SAF – State Police operation started Saturday after intelligence inputs pointed toward Maoist presence in the Saranga forest of West Singhbhum district.
