Govt Orders Release of Six pc DA to Employees

Bhopal  —  Reason to smile, Madhya Pradesh state government has sanctioned a six percent additional Dearness Allowance for its employees. Of this, three percent would be paid to employees along with their salaries in December while the remaining would be paid in February 2010.

At present, the state government employees are paid dearness allowance at the rate of 16 percent of their basic pay plus grade pay.

The orders will also benefit employees getting their salary on work charge basis and from the contingency fund.

Employees drawing their salary in accordance with UGC and AICTE norms will also be paid the additional six percent additional dearness allowance.
