Charmshilpi Panchayat at Chief Minister’s residence soon

Bhopal: Chief Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan has said that Charmshilpi Panchayat will be held soon at CM’s residence. At the panchayat, special measures will be announced for the community’s upliftment after discussions. He said that Ravidas community will also be brought at par with common people. Chief Minister Shri Chouhan was addressing Sant Ravidas Kumbh at Ujjain today. He also announced to allot land for Sant Ravidas Memorial at Goyela Khurd.
At the programme, Shri Chouhan refused to be greeted with flowers etc. in view of loss to farmers’ crops due to hailstorm and rain. He used these garlands and flowers to honour saints.
Chief Minister Shri Chouhan presented Sant Ravidas State Service Award to Sant Ravidas Sewa Sansthan. As award, he gave away shawl, coconut, Rs. one lakh cash and honour plaque to institution’s chairman Shri Barelal Ahirwar. The Chief Minister also released a souvenir on the occasion.
Chief Minister Shri Chouhan said that knowledge spread by Sant Ravidas has enlightened the world. He said that Sant Ravidas Kumbh will be held regularly at Ujjain. The State Government will continue to work as per ideology of Sant Ravidas. Shri Chouhan said that Sant Ravidas had established unique social harmony.
Madhya Pradesh Scheduled Castes Finance Development Corporation Chairman Shri Indresh Gajbhiye said that processions are being organised in 40 districts of the state from February 24 to March 24 in memory of Sant Ravidas, who had given message of brotherhood and harmony to humanity. Swami Avdheshji Maharaj also addressed the programme.
Minister in-charge of district Shri Kailash Vijaywargiya, Food & Civil Supplies Minister Shri Paras Jain, Sant Ravidas Kumbh organising committee president Dr. Satyanarayan Jatia, Mayor Shri Rameshwar Akhand, MLAs Shri Shivnarayan Jagirdar, Shri Rodmal Rathore and Shri Shantilal Dhabai were also present on the occasion.
