Vasundhara to Call on Advani, Rajnath
Former Rajasthan chief minister Vasundhara Raje will meet senior BJP leader LK Advani and party president Rajnath Singh late Saturday.
According to reports, she has met hundreds of people enroute as a show of strength ahead her critical meeting with two leaders scheduled later today.
It should be noted that Vashundhara’s supporters, on the ground that she was democratically elected as CLP leader, have always upheld that she should not step down, while her detractors, keen to hold her responsible for poll debacle in Rajasthan, want to see her go.
But what Vasundhara manages to get in the bargain will be interesting to watch if she steps down. Will she be rehabilitated at the centre as a general secretary or will she also manage to get the CLP leader of her choice elected in Rajasthan and her 2 suspended supporters reinstated?
