‘The ghost of Aam Aadmi Party is haunting PM Narendra Modi’

New Delhi: Miffed on President Pranab Mukherjee’s rejection of Delhi government’s bill on appointment of Parliamentary Secretaries, Arvind Kejriwal has started training his gun at Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
Alleging that PM Modi is not allowing AAP government to function, Kejriwal said, “PM Modi is afraid of Aam Aadami Party. PM Modi has AAP-phobia and it’s haunting him like a nightmare.”

PM is trying to disqualify his MLs to defunct his government, he added.

The BJP has said it’s Mr Kejriwal’s “frustration speaking.” The party’s Ramesh Bidhuri said dismissively, “Arvind Kejriwal has a phobia. His frustration is speaking. He has done unconstitutional work. It’s his habit, he does this every time he does this.”

Also, the Aam Aadmi Party termed as “purely political” the refusal of assent to a bill to shield 21 of its MLAs from office of profit rule, saying it was part of BJP’s ploy to trouble the Delhi government as PM Modi was “scared” of Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal.

The party told a news conference that the President’s decision, “based on the Centre’s recommendation”, was not on technical grounds “as being projected” as BJP and Congress themselves had appointed their lawmakers as parliamentary secretaries in Delhi and other states.
