Teenage Girl Killed as Man Opens Fire in Mumbai Building
A teenage girl was killed and two policemen were injured when a man opened fire at them at a building in Mumbai, said media reports quoting police.
According to reports, Hemini Mehta, 16, a was allegedly shot dead by Harish Maroliya on the third floor of Sourang Society in suburban Andheri – the building in which both were staying.
As police squad reached the spot, Maroliya allegedly opened fire at it and wounded a sub-inspector and a constable, reports said.
However, Maroliya was arrested in an injured state, and other injured were rushed to hospital, where Mehta was proclaimed brought dead, said reports.
