Swine Flu has resulted in four more deaths — two in Bangalore and one each in Aurangabad and Pune, taking the nationwide H1N1 toll in the country to 33 on Wednesday.
Of the 33 swine flu deaths so far, 19 have died in Maharashtra, including 14 in Pune and three in Mumbai. Seven people have died in Karnataka, three in Gujarat, two in Chhattisgarh and one each in Tamil Nadu and Kerala.
216 people tested positive for the virus on Wednesday, taking the total number of those afflicted with the pandemic to 2,242.
Meanwhile, the condition of three other H1N1 patients, presently quarantined at Pune’s Sassoon hospital, is reported to be critical
