Suspected ISI Agent Nabbed in Patna with Secret Papers
A dismissed Indian Army personnel who was allegedly working as an ISI agent has been arrested in Patna with “important military papers” pertaining to the Indo-Pak border, said a top police officer.
Additional director general of police (Headquarters) Neelmani said that the arrest of the jawan by the Special Task Force (STF) of Bihar Police was a “big catch”.
He said that after receiving a tip-off from the Intelligence Bureau and other Intelligence agencies, the STF personnel conducted a raid at a place under Kankarbagh police station and captured Sudhanshu Sudhakar last evening.
Sudhakar, who was allegedly carrying “important military secrets relating to the western side of the Indo-Pak border,” was booked under the Official Secrets Act.
Neelmani said that he was a dismissed sepoy of the Indian Army.
The state police headquarters has informed officials of the Union home ministry and top authorities of Intelligence Bureau about the arrest.
