Bhopal. The Chief Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan said that he is committed towards welfare and happiness of the citizens of Madhya Pradesh till his last breath. I have been working continuously since the last 11 years as a Sevak of the public. He further added that people should also come forward for the welfare of the state. There is no difference between a girl or a boy child and we must pay attention towards the education of the children. Besides, he mentioned that we should undertake plantations and should become an important part of Swachchta Abhiyan of the Prime Minister. CM Shri Chouhan expressed his views during the block level Antodaya Mela at Janpad Mukhlaya Kotma of Anooppur district today.

Chief Minister Shri Chouhan said that youths should not be worried about the jobs, insteadthey become entrepreneurs and provide employment to others. An initiative has been taken to establish new industrial area in Kadamtola of Anooppur district in this regard. A sum of Rs. 229 lakh has been approved for the same. He said that a loan of Rs. 10 to 50 lakh is given to set up an industry under the Mukhya Mantri Swarozgar Yojna and similarly a loan of Rs. 10 lakh to 10 crore is provided to the youths under the Yuva Udhyami Yojna under the state government’s guarantee. Also, training and guidance are provided to them.

Shri Chouhan mentioned that free books, cycles, uniforms, hostel facilities and scholarships are provided to the children. Benefit under the Gaon ki beti Yojan is provided on scoring 60 percent marks in higher secondary examination, laptop to the students securing over 85 percent marks and smart phone is given to the students pursuing college studies.

Moreover, a scheme will be implemented from August 15 to bear all the education expenses of the meritorious students of poor section getting enrolled in the esteemed medical and engineering institutions. Students of all the sections of the society will be benefitted under the scheme. He said that several scheme have been started for the empowerment of the women in the state. 50 percent reservation in urban bodies, 33 percent reservation in the government jobs excluding forest and 50 percent reservation in teachers appointments have been made in the state.

Shri Chouhan said that mahayagya for the welfare of the farmers will be continued. Facilities of agriculture loans on zero percent, subsidy on farm equipments, expansion of irrigation facilities, purchase of farmers’ produce by the government, crop insurance and others are being provided to the farmers. He directed the district officials to redress the public grievances making 15-20 clusters through Lok Kalyan camps. Shri Chouhan also directed the commissioner Shadol division to prepare and implement a new model for the wages under the MGREGA.

Slew of development schemes for Kotma

The Chief Minister Shri Chouhan made announcement as regard to construction of houses worth Rs. 40 crore for poor under the Pradhan Mantri Awas yojna and arrangement for drainage system in Kotma town. Further, announcement for conducting PG classes in Kotma College from the next session was made on the occasion.

Benefit certificates worth 15 crore 14 lakh distributed

The Chief Minister Shri Chouhan also distributed the benefit certificates worth Rs. 15 crore 14 lakh to 10 thousand 684 beneficiaries on the occasion.
