Shoe Hurling Refuses to Stop, Now Advani targeted

In yet another shocking event of show-throwing in a week and a half’s time, the Bhartiya Janata Party’s (BJP) prime ministerial candidate LK Advani was targeted by his own party worker when he was on his way on to the stage to address a public meet in Katni. The party activist was reportedly unhappy with party leadership. However, in hurry-scurry BJP declares him as a man with disturbed mental balance.

According to information, Pawas Agrawal, ex-Bhartiya Yuva Morcha (BJM) President of Katni district, threw his father’s khadaun (Desi chappal made of wood) at LK Advani to show his protest against party’s leadership. He reportedly dislikes LK Advani and is opposed to accept his as Lauh Purush.

A news channel quoted him as saying, “LK Advani is duplicate Lauh Purush who says something and does quite another. I threw my father’s khadaun at him to press this point.”

When asked if there is not any other way to press a point, he was quoted as answering, “How to protest and before whom? Everyone’s their man.”

Agrawal has been a party worker for 27 years and is a kerosene dealer. Reports suggest that he was unsatisfied with party leadership after he was freed of his BYM responsibilities and never given another responsible post in the organization despite repeated assurances.

Reacting to the incidence, BJP said that Agrawal does not have sound mental balance.
