CM leaves for Japan-Korea visit

Bhopal. Chief Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan left here for 10-day visit to Japan and South Korea today. Those who gave send-off to the Chief Minister at the state hangar included Health Minister Dr. Narottam Mishra, Transport Minister Shri Bhupendra Singh, SC and ST Welfare Minister Shri Gyan Singh, Minister of State for Narmada Valley Development Shri Lal Singh Arya, Mayor Shri Alok Sharma, other public representatives and workers.

The Chief Minister said that Madhya Pradesh is among 5 top states of the country in respect of investments. He will hold discussions with investors and heads of financial institutions regarding investment in the state. He said that under leadership of Prime Minister Shri Modi, better investment friendly climate has been created in the country. India has ancient, historic and cultural ties with both Japan and South Korea. These ties will be further cemented with arrival of investors from these countries. Road shows on investment prospects in the state will be held in both the countries. He informed that separate clusters will be formed in the state for Japanese and South East Asian companies.

The Chief Minister will start his journey from Tokyo on September 29. He will be accompanied by Industries Minister Smt. Yashodhara Raje Scindia, senior officers and eminent industrialists.
