Sajjan Gets Bail in Anti-Sikh Riots Case

Delhi High Court has granted bail to senior Congress leader Sajjan Kumar who is accused, along with others, of a role in 1984 anti-Sikh riots, reported PTI.

Sajjan, 64, was given bail on a personal bond and surety of Rs 50,000 each by Additional Chief Metropolitan Magistrate Lokesh Kumar Sharma, said report.

Besides him, seven other accused too presented themselves before the court and were granted bail.

Sajjan was already granted an anticipatory bail on February 26.

Report said that the court posted the matter for further proceedings on March 20.
