Ruchika Case: Rathore Makes Conditional Offer for Narco Test
Convicted in the Ruchika molestation case, former Haryana DGP SPS Rathore (67) says he is ready to take a narco analysis test, provided the victim’s family and the sole eyewitness also agree to undergo the test.
Rathore made the conditional offer in face of what he claims to be “lies” being spread against him by the victim’s family and the eyewitness, her friend Aradhna.
Ruchika Girhotra was molested on August 12 1990. She committed suicide on December 28 1993.
Terming his conditional offer to undergo the test as his “moral duty”, Rathore, in a recent communication to communication to the state government, said he would undergo the test provided Ruchika’s father SC Girhotra and brother Ashu, Anand Prakash, a family friend of the Girhotras, his wife Madhu and sole witness in the case Aradhana(Anand’s daughter), also underwent the procedure.
