Pro-Telangana Activists Threaten to Obstruct IPL Matches
Pro-Telangana activists have threatened to obstruct four matches of Indian Premier League scheduled to be played in Andhra Pradesh, said reports.
The organizers of IPL3 had already decided to shift the opening match of the event from Hyderabad to Mumbai amid protests over creation of separate Telangana state.
Lali Modi, IPL commissioner, had announced that the match between Deccan Chargers and Kolkata Knight Riders would now be played at the DY Patil Stadium in Mumbai.
Modi seemed to have made up his mind after protesters disrupted a Twenty20 tournament in Hyderabad on January 21.
