Pakistani Spy Arrested at IGIA: Reports
A Pakistani spy was arrested at the Indira Gandhi International Airport (IGIA) in the national capital on Saturday, say media reports citing a top government official on Sunday. The arrest comes days the country marks the first anniversary of the macabre 26/11 strikes in Mumbai.
“One Pakistani spy was arrested at IGI airport yesterday,” Union Home Secretary GK Pillai was quoted as saying by TIMES NOW TV, no further details were available.
Citing highly placed sources in the government and the intelligence set up, the report said that the Pakistani citizen in his mid-40s had been sent by the government to conduct surveys across sensitive locations.
