“Rozgar Ki Padhai, Chalen ITI campaign from 20 April

Bhopal. “Rozgar Ki Padhai, Chalen I.T.I.” campaign will be conducted in all the districts from April 20 to June 30. Minister of State for Technical Education and Skill Development (Independent Charge), School Education and Labour Shri Deepak Joshi reviewed the preparations of the campaign through video conferencing.

Shri Joshi mentioned that the campaign should be started with full preparations. Link public representatives and social organisations with the campaign. Also include children of Prime Minister Skill Development Centres in the campaign. Shri Joshi while deliberating with Divisional Joint Directors individually issued necessary instructions regarding preparations of the campaign.

Principal Secretary Technical Education Smt. Kalpana Shrivastava informed that the campaign is being started to provide benefits of Craftsmanship Training Scheme, Prime Minister Skill Development Scheme, proposed Mukhyamantri Koushal Samvardhan yojana and Koushalya yojana to the school students/drop outs. Students will be encouraged to take admissions in I.T.Is. Also summer camp will be organised in I.T.Is. for students of class 9th and 10th from April 20 to May 26. Students displaying best in the camp at district level will be honoured in Bhopal on May 30. Moreover, school students/drop outs will be taken for a visit of district level I.T.I from June 1 to 15. Later on campaign’s publicity will be conducted in the schools from June 15 to 30. Smt. Shrivastava said that all the Principals should prepare an outline of the programme soon after deliberations with the District Collectors.

Director Technical Education Shri Sanjeev Singh stated that lectures by youth who have established self employment must be organised after the camp.

Nodal Principals of District level I.T.Is. and District Education Officers have been made main coordinators of the campaign.
