Amid Shiv Sena threat and arrest of Sainiks by state government, multiplex chains in Mumbai have decided to have a limited release of Shah Rukh Khan starrer ‘My Name Is Khan’, said media reports.

Multiplex owners, who met in the morning at Fun Cinemas in suburb Andheri, decided that each multiplex chain will one of its property in Mumbai to screen the movie and see how it goes, reports said.

Reports said citing sources that outside Mumbai, film will be shown in all theatres, as there was no trouble.

Nonetheless, most of the single screens have decided not to screen the film, said reports.

Manoj Desai owner of Gaiety, Galaxy and Maratha Mandir single-screen theatres has also decided against releasing the film, reports said.

“Shiv Sainiks tore the screen at Maratha Mandir even before the release of the film. Why should I take chances,” he was quoted as saying.
