‘Public Service Delivery Guarantee Act facilitates common people’

Bhopal: Minister of State for Scheduled Castes Welfare Shri Harishankar Khatik has said that now common people’s works are being completed within the stipulated time-limit. He exhorted villagers to avail these facilities by becoming aware. Minister of State Shri Khatik was addressing an Antyodaya Mela at Nimari in Tikamgarh district the other day. On the occasion, he laid foundation stone of about Rs. 2.50 crore construction works. As many as 60 thousand 404 beneficiaries were provided benefits under several schemes at the fair.
Minister of State Shri Khatik said that the State Government is paying special attention to infrastructure development. He said that establishment of industries will enhance employment opportunities. The Minister of State said that construction of bridges over Jamni and Betwa rivers will be completed within the prescribed time-limit. Shri Khatik said that 24-hour power supply will be ensured in rural areas from January 2013. The Minister of State said that Nimari’s tahsil building is of archaeological importance. A plan will soon be chalked out to preserve this building. The tahsil office will be shifted to new building.
