Budhni Immersed in Patriotism in Tiranga Yatra

CM Chouhan Lays Foundation of Budhni Medical College, Bhairunda-Budhni-Rehti National Highway, Railway Bridge Meritorious Students to get E-Scooty on August 23

Under the ongoing Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav, “Har Ghar Tiranga” campaign, Grand Tiranga Yatra was organized at Budhni in Sehore district today. The Chief Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan and Smt. Sadhna Singh Chouhan, Shri Kartikey Chouhan, and Member of Parliament Vidisha Shri Ramakant Bhargav participated in the Tiranga Yatra.

As part of ongoing Vikas Parv Shri Chouhan laid foundation for a 500 bed Medical College costing Rs. 714.91 crores. He also laid foundation stone for the Budhni-Bherunda Raheti National Highway and the Railway Under-Bridge to be constructed at a cost of Rs. 284.16 lakhs.

A large number of school students, local residents, and community representatives participated in Tiranga Yatra carrying the national flag. The citizens showered flower petals to welcome the Chief Minister.

Shri Chouhan extended greetings on Independence Day saying that progress and development are going on at pace across the state, propelling Madhya Pradesh to join the league of developed states. The youth, children, women, and elders from their balconies showered flower petals to greet Chief Minister Shri Chouhan.

Shri Chouhan announced that honorarium for midday meal cooks in schools would be doubled to Rs. 4,000, and the demands of guest teachers would be addressed. Their Panchayat would be convended soon. He also informed that on August 17th, a sum of around Rs. 4,000 would be deposited into the accounts of boys-girls studying in 5th to 6th classs and boys and girls studying in 8th to 9th class to help them have bicycles. He further said that on the 23rd, students who secured first position in their 12th-class examination would be given a scooter or e-scooty.

Shri Chouhan received a warm welcome through more than 100 small stages. Local people had placards expressing their gratitude to the Chief Minister for various initiatives like the Ladli Bahna Yojana and the Budhni Medical College.

The students adorned themselves with attires of freedom fighters like Chandrashekhar Azad, Bhagat Singh, Sukhdev, Subhas Chandra Bose, and Rajguru, who sacrificed their lives for the nation’s freedom struggle.

The Chief Minister Shri Chouhan said that his government takes care of women. For the first time, Rs. 1,000 is being deposited into the accounts of sisters. This will continue and they will soon get Rs. 3000 per month. Shri Chouhan further informed that on the 27th of the month, he would celebrate Rakh.

Shri Chouhan emphasized that his government functions like a family, with the focus on development and the welfare of every individual. He said that the state government has focused on sectors like education, healthcare, drinking water, irrigation, and infrastructure, contributing to the state’s progress. He stated that Budhni is scripting a history of development.

Medical College and Nursing College

The Chief Minister said that the Medical College in Budhni would benefit entire Narmadapuram region. Additionally, a nursing college would also be established. He highlighted the importance of the Budhni-Raheti-Bherunda National Highway, connecting Bhopal to Narmadapuram, for regional development.

Students Share Thoughts

The Chief Minister had a meaningful interaction with the participating students. He advised them to dedicate themselves to studies and excel in education. He assured them to give scholarship for continuing higher education. He referred to the Chief Minister’s Udhyam Kranti Yojana for self-employment. He informed the students that there are ongoing government job recruitments. The medical and engineering education will now also be available in Hindi.

Rs. 6,000 To Farmers

The Chief Minister announced that the farmers will now get Rs. 6,000 thus they will receive Rs. 12,000 annually through combined support of the state and central governments.

The Chief Minister administered an oath to citizens urging them to work towards a self-reliant and empowered household, village, block, tehsil, district, state, and nation. He called for everyone’s participation in the state’s development.

Member of Parliament Shri Ramakant Bhargava highlighted the significance of the day and the laying of the foundation stone for a medical college in any development zone in the country. Former MLA Shri Rajendra Singh Rajput also addressed the gathering.
