Krishna, Qureshi Attend Kabul Luncheon

Foreign Minister SM Krishna and his Pakistani counterpart Shah Mehmood Qureshi attended a luncheon hosted by Afghan Foreign Minister Rangin Dadfar Spanta in Kabul on Thursday.

Those present at the luncheon hosted for foreign dignitaries, after Hamid Karzai was sworn-in as Afghanistan President for a second term, included US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton.`

Both Krishna and Qureshi were in the Afghan capital to attend the swearing in ceremony.`

Krishna and Qureshi had earlier met on the margins of the United Nations General Assembly in New York on September 27.
