Six Forest Guards Suspended

Bhopal  —  The Madhya Pradesh government placed six forest department employees under suspension for failing to check the laying of optical fibre cables in parts of the Ratapani and Singhori wildlife sanctuaries in the state.

Those suspended include two guards at the Ratapani and four at Singhori wildlife sanctuaries.

The matter was brought to light after activists moved the chief minister’s office, PMO and the ministry of environment and forests with complaints against the incident.
