New Delhi: Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe met President Pranab Mukherjee today. Abe arrived here yesterday on a three-day official visit.
“Shinzo Abe, the Prime Minister of Japan called on President Mukherjee at Rashtrapati Bhavan today (Saturday),” the official Twitter account of Rashtrapati Bhavan said. “Furthering a close and reliable partnership PM Abe Shinzo calls on President Pranab Mukherjee,” external affairs ministry spokesperson Vikas Swarup tweeted.
Today Prime Minister Modi also met Shinzo Abe and said, “Today, there is a ‘Make In India’ movement in Japan. I have been told that USD 11-12 billion fund has been earmarked for it. This clearly indicates how both the countries can move forward.”
