Jamaui Massacre Carried out by Child Maoists: Police

Shocking everyone, Bihar has claimed that Wednesday’s Maoist attack on a village in Jamui in which 12 villagers were killed was carried out by children as young as 12-13 years old, reported Zee News.

It may be mentioned that Maoists, who are already using women, recruit children as part of their plans to promote their ideology but it is for the first time that they have used them to kill people.

Police said that there were nearly 50 children in the 200-strong Naxal team that attacked the village and burn 40 houses, said report.

The attack was seen as a revenge operation by the Left wing extremists, reportedly in retaliation to the alleged killing of eight Maoists by the villagers some 15 days back.
