Jail Authorities Directed to Provide Medical Relief to Ailing Shiney Ahuja

Hearing his plea, a fast track court in Mumbai has issued instructions to jail authorities to provide immediate medical relief to Bollywood actor Shiney Ahuja, arrested for allegedly raping his maid.

When the 36-year-old actor was produced in the fast track court, he was seen crying and wincing following a slip disc problem.

Unable to walk, Ahuja was assisted into the court room by two constables.

Later, he was brought outside and made to sit on a bench where he lay down, quivering. Then, Sameer Nagre, his counsel, moved an application asking for medical treatment to Ahuja at the earliest.

The court directed the jail authorities to provide the actor immediate medical relief and shift him to JJ Hospital if necessary for further treatment.
