ISI Asks Taliban to Join Jihad against India or Rot in Jail

Pakistan’s Inter Service Intelligence (ISI) has put to surrendered Taliban militants an option of either joining jihad against India or going to prison, said reports.

The ISI wants nearly 60 Taliban militants to infiltrate into Jammu and Kashmir to become part of the jihad against India. It threatened them that they would be put into prison if they don’t agree – a crystal-clear indication that Pakistan is willing to turn the Taliban threat into a weapon against India.

According to reports, Indian intelligence agencies have captured the conversations about incursion attempts planned in the next few weeks, after which the BSF and army has been put on alert in Jammu and Kashmir.

More over, in addition to Taliban militants, another 250 to 300 jihadis are waiting to cross the Line of Control. They are reported to be armed with sophisticated weapons, satellite phones and Indian mobile SIM cards.

It may be mentioned that in comparison with Lashkar and Hizbul, Taliban militants are greater worry for Indian security forces, for they are more battle-hardy and have the experience of fighting US troops.
