Indian team warming up for ODI series against Kiwis

Guwahati: On the first day of five one-day international series against New Zealand, Indian cricket team had a practice session at the stadium here. The first match between the two sides will take place on Sunday.

Gautam Gambhir opener of match will lead the Indian team in the first two one-day internationals. The second one-day international will take place in Jaipur, Rajasthan. Security arrangements in and around the stadium have been made graeter and stronger for the match.

“We have four layers of security to prevent persons from entering the field,” said P. C. Saloi. the Senior Superintendent of Police at Guwahati.

The New Zealand team is expected to have its practice session today.
