Gujjar Delegation Meets Governor Over Reservation Issue

A delegation comprising state ministers and Gujjar elders met Rajasthan Governor SK Singh on Wednesday to seek his early assent on a pending reservation bill, relating to ob quotas for the community.

“Today, we met the honourable Governor of Rajasthan and requested him to give his assent to the bill, which provisions five percent reservation to Gujjars and other backward communities…we request him to approve the bill as soon as possible,” said Energy Minister Jitendra Singh, after the meeting.
