Four Rockets from Pakistani Side Hit Punjab Village near Border: Reports

Nearly four rockets from Pakistani side struck the fields near Attari, located close to India-Pakistan border in Punjab at 12.40 pm on Saturday, said reports.

Indian express in its reports, however, said that no casualty was reported so far.

The report said citing eyewitnesses that two of the rockets landed at the BSF post situated at Khangarh, some two kms from the international India-Pakistan border, while other two struck fields.

“The rockets fell just in our fields. Our houses are also here. So it is grave danger for us. Earlier also such incidents have taken place in our village,” Gurdeep Singh, a resident, was quoted as saying in the report.

In retaliation, the BSF opened fire but doe to dense fog, border guards were obstructed in their search operation.

However the Pakistani authorities have denied having anything to do with the rocket attacks.
