Force India to Keep Good Times Flowing: Mallya

Force India boss Vijay Mallya on Sunday said that his Formula One venture would keep up its good showing, he was speaking after the team recorded yet another spectacular finish with Adrian Sutil coming in fourth at the Italian Grand Prix.

Mallya admitted that hoping for back-to-back podiums – after Force India Italian Giancarlo Fisichella finished second at the Belgian Grand Prix – was unrealistic. But, added that he was proud of his team’s efforts.

“It’s been another great weekend for Force India,” he said.

Mallya was all praise for Sutil and said the points were richly deserved. He lauded Vitantonio Liuzzi, who had to pull out due to a mechanical snag.

This was the first Force India outing for Liuzzi, who replaced Fisichella after the latter moved to Ferrari following the podium at the Belgian Grand Prix.

For the record, Rubens Barrichello driving Brawn-Mercedes came in first clocking 1:16:21.706 followed by teammate Jenson Button, Kimi Raikkonnen of Ferrari and Adrian Sutil of Force India.

Fisichella, incidentally, finished ninth.
