Fixation of long-term goal key to success in administrative service: Kalam

Bhopal: Former President Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam has said that fixation of long-term goal is key to success in administrative service. He said that fixation of target will give motivation to officers from time to time and help in overcoming various problems. Dr. Kalam was concluding the 87th foundation training of officers of All-India and Central services at RCVP Noronha Academy of Administration here today. The function was presided over by Minister of State for General Administration Shri Kanhaiyalal Agrawal.
Former President Dr. Kalam asked the probationary officers to brand their dedication. As a result of it, no one will approach them to offer bribe nor would they come under any pressure.
Former President Dr. Kalam gave away cups, medals and citations to the probationary officers securing top positions at various competitions during the training.
Minister of State Shri Agrawal exhorted the probationary officers to keep taking initiatives for serving the country and securing the poor their rights. He informed that the State Government has made all-round arrangements at the academy for training to officers of All-India and Central services.
At the outset, Academy Director General Smt. Abha Asthana welcomed the guests. She informed that 62 officers of All-India and Central services participated in this 15-day training. Director Shri Rakesh Agrawal informed that apart from imparting knowledge of various issues and subjects during the training, the probationary officers were also taken on field visit. Shri Agrawal presented mementoes to former President Dr. Kalam and Minister of State Shri Agrawal.
Faculty members of the academy and probationary officers were present on the occasion.
