Lambasting at the Congress-NCP government in Maharashtra, Shiv Sena executive president Uddhav Thackeray has said that the government has failed on all the fronts and voters will vote to power Shiv Sena-BJP government in the October 13 Assembly elections.

He said that it the Sena-BJP alliance was elected by people, it would ensure that the prices of five essential commodities remained stable for five years as it was done by its dispensation earlier.

Yesterday, Uddhav was in Nashik and addressed election rallies at Sinnar, Niphad and Nashik. In addition, he also addressed meetings through mobile phone at Malegaon and Nandgaon.

He said that the government had turned a sorry figure as far as inflation, load-shedding and farmer suicides are concerned.

On sitting mayor Vinayak Pandey and Igatpuri’s sitting Sena MLA Kashinath Mengal, who left Sena and joined NCP and MNS respectively, Uddhav said, “They enjoyed their full terms and left the party for their selfish ends. Sena doesn’t care about it as my cousin Raj too left and formed the MNS.”
