ED Arrests Koda’s Aide Vikas Sinha in Hawala Scam

In a case of hawala transactions and illegal investments, Vikas Sinha, an aide of former Jhakhand Minister Madhu Koda, has been nabbed by the Enforcement Directorate.

According to reports, ED will produce Sinha, brother of another associate Binod Sinha, in a local court to seek his police remand before he is sent to the Directorate’s regional headquarters in Patna.

The ED, as reports suggested, said that he is allegedly involved in investing and routing Koda’s money through hawala channels.

Sinha, who was arrested when he appeared before the ED, is the first associate of Koda to be taken into custody by the Directorate, among the eight people it has summoned for questioning in the multi-crore scam.
