Court Extends Rathore’s Bail till Feb 8

The post-conviction bail of former Haryana DGP and convict in Ruchika molestation case SPS Rathore has been extended by the court of the additional and sessions judge in Chandigarh till February 8, said reports.

The court asked Rathore to deposit his passport with it within seven days, with a direction not to leave country, reported ‘The Times of India’.

The hearing will take place continuously for three days on February 8, 9 and 10, court said.

The court order came after Rathore filed an appeal against his conviction in the molestation case by a Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) special court here on Dec 21.
