Congress Manages Passive Support from BJD

Reducing the possible troubles that come in the way of its forming next government at the centre, the Congress has developed an idea to receive a passive support from BJD. The deal was struck with the BJP supremo Naveen Patnaik after two Congress leaders met him.

According to information, the BJD chief has assured Congress that he will abstain in the confidence vote. Congress president Sonia Gandhi called Patnaik to reaffirm the deal.

Needless to mention, BJD had been part of NDA for 11 years and severed its alliance with it only recently and has been repeatedly saying since that it would neither support the BJP nor the Congress. In addition, it has also not confirmed its inclusion in the Third Front.
