CM of Madhya Pradesh invited the President

BHOPAL (MPINFO): Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan called on President Smt. Pratibha Devi Singh Patil on Sunday to invite the President for inauguration of Atal Behari Hindi University going to be established at Bhopal. On the occasion, he also urged her to grant approval to Madhya Pradesh Special Courts Bill 2011.

CM informed that the university to be established at Bhopal will be the first of own kind, which will work for giving international identity to Hindi. He informed the President that apart from social science and science, the university will also impart Hindi-medium education in various other disciplines and subjects like medical sciences, engineering, law, management etc. and it will also ensure high-level research work.

Chief Minister Chouhan informed Her Excellency Smt. Patil that Madhya Pradesh Special Courts Bill 2011 has been forwarded to the Union government for approval. But the approval has not yet been granted. He informed that the Bill envisages effective control over corruption. A provision has been made in the Bill to confiscate the assets amassed through corrupt means and strict punishment to corrupt persons. He said that this Bill is pending with the Union government since April 2011.
