Bukhari expressed displeasure over DSP killing
Deoria: Shahi Imam of Jama Masjid has expressed his displeasure over the the killing of DSP, Zia-ul-Haq. in New Delhi, Maulana Ahmed Bukhari said that the law and order situation during previous Mayawati government is better than that of Akhilesh Yadav regime.
Alleging that the state government is working under the influence of Parliamentary Affairs Minister Azam Khan, Bukhari said that the previous BSP government provided good governance in the state.
The police detained Bukhari who was on the way to participate in the slain DSP Zia-ul-Haq’s last rituals being performed at Nunkhar. Bukhari was detained at Rampur crossing for security reasons. After few hours of detention, Bukhari was allowed to visit Deoria.
Putting a question mark on the intention of Chief Minister, Bukhari said that he had already cautioned Akhilesh and Mulayam Singh Yadav about alleged injustice being done towards Muslims in the state.
