Revealing that terrorists are hiding in Kolkata, West Bengal chief minister Buddhadeb Bhattacharjee has warned about a possible attack from them.
“Terrorists are hiding in the city and Kolkata is not free from fear of a terrorist attack. We are very much concerned about it,” Bhattacharjee said at a function to present medals to police in the city.
It may be mentioned that chief minister Bhattacharjee is also in-charge of the Home (Police) department.
“I urge the task force in the city police to be more alert,” he said.
Besides, the chief minister lauded the performance of joint forces in Maoist-hit West Midnapore, Purulia and Bankura districts in the state.
