Attack on Bhojpuri Actor’s House by Sena Is Case of Mistaken Identity

Bhojpuri actor Manoj Tiwari, whose house was attacked by Shiv Sena activists on Monday, has turned out to be a victim of mistaken identity.

Yesterday, Tiwari’s house was badly damaged by Shiv Sena activists. They had windows of his Vesova home, vandalized furniture and shouted slogans, taking him to be Congress spokesperson Manish Tewari.

The Congress leader, following Sena chief Bal Thackeray’s dig at cricketer Sachin Tendulkar, had criticized Thackeray terming his remarks as “unwanted and out of context”.

Enraged Sena activists had intended to target Manish Tewari but ended up attacking the Bhojpuri actor’s house.

Manoj had expressed shock after the attack and denied making any remarks on Bal Thackeray.
