Government will transport patients to hospital by helicopter: Air ambulance started; All health centers and district hospitals of MP connected

Now all patients will also be able to get air ambulance facility in Madhya Pradesh. That means they will be airlifted to the hospital via helicopter in a short time. Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav virtually launched ‘PM Shri Air Ambulance Service’ from the platform of Regional Industry Conclave in Ujjain on Saturday.

Under the air ambulance service, one helicopter and one fixed wing converted flying ICU aircraft will be deployed for all the districts of the state. Specialized doctors and paramedical teams will be there. Its command center is in Bhopal. All the health centers and district hospitals of the state have been connected to it.

Earlier the name of this service was decided as Chief Minister Air Ambulance, but on the stage the Chief Minister named it ‘PM Shri Air Ambulance Service’. Let us tell you, at present AIIMS is the only hospital in Madhya Pradesh where a helipad is built.

SOP will be made, fees will also be decided

 

The Health and Aviation Department will soon issue SOP (Standard Operating Procedure) for air ambulance service. Aviation Department Principal Secretary Sandeep Yadav said that a number will also be issued. Fees will also be decided for different categories. In some cases this service will be free while in other cases including commercial, different fees will be fixed. The government will also deploy officers separately for the control room and other arrangements.

People will be airlifted in case of serious accidents occurring on roads and industrial areas.

Heart patients, respiratory diseases and patients affected by poison will be able to get timely treatment.

Air ambulance service will also help in newborn and high risk pregnancy cases.

Under the Ayushman Bharat scheme, medical experts will be brought to the hospital for the patients.

If needed, patients will be taken to big hospitals in Delhi, Mumbai, Chennai or Hyderabad.

Will be used in case of medical emergency and need of expert.

Will airlift patients in difficult geographical conditions.

Will be run during the day. If needed, it will proceed further after filling fuel at any airport in the state.

The ICU aircraft will be connected 24 hours to all the airports and airstrips of the state.
