Abusive Remarks by Chaturvedi A Closed Chapter Now: Pawar
Seeking to play down the abuses hurled against him by Congress leader Satyavrat Chaturvedi, NCP supremo Sharad Pawar has said that he treats the matter as a close chapter, reported PTI.
“There is no need to speak anything more on this matter. I think there is no need to give much importance to the matter.
“The Congress party has taken a decision on this feeling that the remarks were not in good taste. For me the chapter is closed,” the agriculture minister was quoted as saying while talking to reporters in New Delhi.
Following his objection remarks against Pawar in the context of inflation to a TV channel three days ago, Chaturvedi was dropped from the rank of party spokesman.
He is also a permanent invitee of the Congress Working Committee and in-charge of the Training Cell of the party, the responsibilities, he continues to discharge.
