Al-Qaeda US Spokesman Adam Gadahn Held in Pakistan: Reports

Adam Gadahn, a US-born al-Qaeda spokesman has reportedly been arrested in Karachi, say media reports citing Pakistani security officials.

Gadahn, who is reported to have appeared in several al-Qaeda videos in the last six years, was charged with treason in the US in 2006. He was the first American charged with treason in over five decades, added the reports.

His arrest is yet to be confirmed by Islamabad or Washington.
