16 More Swine Flu Cases Discovered across Country
Following country’s first fatality in Swine flu, sixteen more cases of H1N1 influenza have been discovered across the country, thus taking the total number of cases to 574.
According to reports, three cases were reported in Delhi, six in Pune, two each in Mumbai, Chennai and Gurgaon and one in Trivandrum.
Of three cases in Delhi, one is a 22-year-old man who traveled from Hong Kong to Delhi transiting Singapore and Kuala Lumpur.
Second case is of an 18-year-old boy who traveled from Singapore to New Delhi reaching Delhi and the last is a 25-year-old man, who traveled from Toronto Amsterdam reaching Delhi.
Of the six cases reported in Pune, three are school children who are contacts of positive cases reported earlier.
Another indigenous case is a 20-year old boy, who was in contact with visiting foreign nationals in Pune.
The remaining two have travelled abroad.
