Preparations for Global Investors Summit

BHOPAL: The Global Investors Summit will be held at Madhya Pradesh’s industrial and business capital Indore from October 28 to 30 this year.

The preparation for the same has gathered momentum. It is estimated that about 600 industrialists from abroad and India will take part in the summit. The process of receipt of consent form industrialists of various countries for attending the meet has also started.

The high level meeting will be chaired by Industries Minister Kailash Vijayvargiya. The meeting will be about pertaining to various arrangements for the summit at Indore on April 2.

The logistics plan for venue of the summit, places to lodge guest industrialists, transport, power, water, identification and feasibilities in various sectors of industrial investment, coordination among all the concerning departments etc will be chalked out in the meeting.

Due to global and national investment meets held in Madhya Pradesh, the number of industrial agreements has witnessed considerable increase. Road shows organised at various places also contributed in the same.

It also results in the increase in attraction of industrial world towards Madhya Pradesh.The attention is given by the government to commencement of industrial units under the MoUs signed for the purpose. It also shows promptness in making facilities available in time with a view to promoting industries.It also results in increase of the employment.

For simplifying the process of monitoring, vigilance and enforcement strategies are being made by the government. The meeting to be held on April 2 will be the first high-level meeting to be held on the venue of the summit.

Indore divisional commissioner, collector and other concerning officers, senior officers of Industries Department, Bhopal and its concerning units and representatives of industrial institutions will be attending the meeting.
