State Govt Institutes Awards for Excellent Work in Police Intelligence

The Madhya Pradesh government has instituted three state level awards for the police personnel for excellent work in intelligence.

Home Minister Umashankar Gupta today made announcement for the awards which were instituted on the instructions of Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan.

The awards include Ganimeekawa Award, Chanakya Award and Chhatrasal Award.

Ganimeekawa Award, carrying prize money of Rs one lack, will be given for team work; while Chanakya Award, having same prize amount, will be bestowed on the police personnel doing excellent work throughout the year.

Chhatrasal Award, with prize money of Rs 50 thousand, will be given to five police personnel for excellent work.
