Pakistan to Examine Eleventh 26/11 Dossier before FS Level Talks

Pakistan’s Interior Ministry will scrutinize the eleventh dossier given to Islamabad by New Delhi on Mumbai terror attacks before the crucial meeting of the foreign secretaries of the two countries, said media reports.

In a brief statement, Abdul Basit, Foreign Office spokesman, said that arrangements were being made for ‘receipt of the material from New Delhi’, reports said.

“The material will be forwarded to the Interior Ministry for examination when received,” he was quoted as saying.

Speaking to a TV news channel, Basit said that the Pakistan government is of the firm opinion that whosoever was involved in the Mumbai attacks should be punished, said reports.

“Pakistan is conducting the trial of the accused on its soil in a transparent and professional way and the recently extended evidence by Indian authorities would be analysed appropriately,” he was quoted as saying.
