Pak Blames ‘Foreign Powers’ for Lahore Terror Attack

Pakistan has blamed ‘foreign powers’ for Monday’s Lahore terror attack at the office of the Special Intelligence Agency, in which 11 people were killed, reported ANI.

Speaking to reporters, Interior Minister Rehman Malik held Taliban responsible for the strike and alleged that the banned terror outfit was working as ‘mercenaries’ in Pakistan, said report.

“Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) has been involved in all terror attacks in the country… they are hired killers and want to destabilise Pakistan,” Malik was quoted as saying.

However, going a step further, Punjab Law Minister Rana Sanaullah directly blamed the Research and Analysis Wing (RAW), India’s external intelligence agency, for the attacks, said report.

Also, he pointed fingers at Israel, and other countries, report said.

“India’s Research and Analysis Wing was involved in Monday’s suspected suicide car bomb attack on a special investigation unit. Besides other neighbouring countries, India’s RAW is also involved. Israel and other countries could also be involved,” The Nation quoted Sanaullah, as saying.
